Description

R410a is a zeotropic but not azeotropic mixture of difluoromethane and pentafluoroethane, widely used as a refrigerant in residential and central system air conditioners. These gases are widely used in heat pumps.

Applications:

R410a gas offers a wide range of uses in areas such as residential air conditioners and central system air conditioners. Unlike newer generation refrigerants, R410a refrigerant gas, which is non-flammable, is being phased out in favor of newer generation refrigerant gases like R32.

Is R410a a Blend or Pure Gas?

R410a gas is not in the group of pure gases. It contains 50% R125 and 50% R32 gases. R410a is a blend gas, and therefore, liquid transfer must always be performed in the system to prevent the mixture from deteriorating.

Stacking Methods

At Tura İklimlendirme, we offer R410a gas using various stacking methods. Our company stocks R410a gas in 12-liter (Net 10 KG), 61-liter (Net 45 KG), 1000-liter (Net 750 KG), and 22000-liter (20,000 KG) cylinders. We have cylinders with and without dip tubes. In cylinders without a dip tube, the cylinder must be inverted to inject liquid R410a gas into the system; in cylinders with a dip tube, the cylinder should be positioned upright to inject liquid.

R410A is a HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) refrigerant gas and is widely used in air conditioning systems, heat pumps and other ventilation applications.

  • Chemical Formula: R410A is a member of the HFC family and consists of a mixture of two components, R32 (difluoromethane) and R125 (pentafluorotetraethane).
  • Ozone Depletion Potential: R410A has zero ozone depletion potential.
  • Global Warming Potential (GWP): With a GWP value of 2.088, R410A has a relatively low GWP value compared to other refrigerants.
  • Cooling Capacity: R410A has a higher cooling capacity compared to other refrigerants such as R22.
  • Critical Temperature: With a critical temperature of 72.5°C, R410A can remain in liquid form even at high temperatures.
  • Liquid Density: The liquid density of R410A, 1.038 g/cm³, is an important factor in the design and operation of refrigeration systems.
  • Boiling Point: The boiling point of -51.6°C allows R410A to be used effectively in low temperature applications.
  • Water Solubility: R410A has very low water solubility, which helps it maintain its effectiveness in humid environments.

The use of R410a gas is not prohibited. Instead of R410a gas, the more environmentally friendly R32 gas has begun to be used. Systems that will switch from R410a to R32 gas must be changed.

R410a gas is not a flammable gas.
