Description
Applications
R407c gas is widely used in air conditioners, central systems, and chillers. Particularly favored in chiller systems, R407c refrigerant gas is not flammable. The refrigerant commonly used in air conditioners is being replaced by new generation refrigerant gases. These new generation refrigerants are designed to be flammable to reduce environmental harm.
Is R407c a Blend or Pure Gas?
R407c gas is a blend. This refrigerant is a mixture of R32, R125, and R134a gases; it is composed of 25% R125, 23% R32, and 52% R134a. As a blend, R407c requires liquid transfer to the system to prevent mixture degradation.
Stacking Methods
At Tura Climatization, we offer R407c gas in various stacking methods. Our company stocks R407c gas in 12-liter (Net 10 KG), 61-liter (55 KG), 1000-liter (Net 820 KG), and 22000-liter (20,000 KG) cylinders. For 12-liter cylinders, we have both dip-tube and non-dip-tube options. In non-dip-tube cylinders, the cylinder must be inverted when transferring liquid R407c gas to the system; in dip-tube cylinders, the cylinder should be positioned upright. The guiding markings on dip-tube cylinders should be carefully examined before use.

Properties of R407c gas
R407c Gas is a HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) refrigerant gas used in commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
- Chemical Formula: R407c is a member of the HFC family and is composed of a mixture of three components, R32 (difluoromethane), R125 (pentafluorotetraethane) and R134a (tetrafluorotetraethane).
- Ozone Depletion Potential: Zero.
- GWP Value: 1.774. This value indicates a low Global Warming Potential compared to other refrigerants and is considered environmentally friendly.
- Cooling Capacity: It has a lower cooling capacity compared to other refrigerants such as R22.
- Critical Temperature: 86.2°C. This feature allows R407c to remain in liquid form even at high temperatures.
- Liquid Density: 1.139 g/cm³.
- Boiling Point: -43.8°C. Water Solubility: Very low.
Is R407c gas banned?
The use of R407c gas is not prohibited.
Is R407c flammable?
